Probably the most exciting musical happening (that is every so slightly related to me) is the release of my friend Brian's new record, "These Hopeful Machines." About one thousand, five hundred twenty-two years ago, I sang a teency bit of background vocals on the last track on the record. It's a cover of the Psychedelic Furs' "The Ghost in You." I think Brian (aka BT) did a lovely job. You should buy his record (there you have it -- an unabashed plug for a friend). But anywho, as far as I'm concerned...
I'm finishing up at Columbia University this semester, and then it's off to Franceland to, guess what? Study more! I will, however, try to play a bit over there, so come have a verre de vin with me in Pareeee if you're passing through.
